This Saf-T-Brace is for retrofit or new construction or applications. It fits all ceiling fans and 16 inch to 24 inch ceiling joists. It provides fast fingertip expansion and positive attachment to joists and the teeth twist and lock into joists to create a more secure connection. This product includes mounting hardware and instructions and a Saf-T-Cap to protect the inner workings during drywall installation.
