The FPS-825 from EMERGI-LITE is a UL Listed fluorescent emergency ballast that allows the same fixture to be used for both normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power failure, the FPS-825 switches to the emergency mode and operates one of the existing lamps for 90 minutes. The unit contains a battery, charger, and inverter circuit in a single can. The FPS-825 operates T5 up to T8 lamps, including HO and 4-pin long compact fluorescent lamps from 40-55 watts at an initial output of up to 825 lumens for one lamp. The FPS-825 delivers high performance in a slim design, and is ideal for use in linear lighting fixtures where ballast compartment space is limited.
