Buying LED lights is difficult unless you can actually see the light color and how the light is dispersed. These particular lights have a narrow beam and emit a white light, not a warmer light as the 3000K rating would indicate. I installed them on ceilings that are 13 feet above the floor and they function more as a spot light and not a flood light at this height. Their best service would be on a taller structure where the beam would have a greater height to dispurse or they could also provide service as an outdoor downlight where shadows are disirable. My wife preferred I remove them from her kitchen as the light was not warm and inviting and was spotty. I would rate these more like a 65 watt light BR30 incandescent instead of a 90 watt halogen as sharp indicates.

I have just installed the PAR38 sharp lights, They are very bright. they work well. I only have 2 con: 1)if you do not have high ceilings, then do not purchase. The disbursement of light is only a 25 degree angle, they are more like spot lights, for low ceilings. 2) There is a little hum when the lights are on(not a big issue for me).
I have 15 foot ceilings they work very well. I would purchase again.
I am waiting to see how much they decrease my electric bill.
