New York City - Lighting and Electrical Sales Position Available Now:
GoodMart Electrical and Lighting Supply is looking for a knowledgeable
lighting salesperson to call on commercial end users, ESCOs and resellers
in New York City. Headquartered in New York, GoodMart
is an established Lighting & Electrical Products Supplier engaged in
the wholesale and retail sales of light bulbs and ballasts by Sylvania,
TCP and Venture, light fixtures by Lamar, Encore, Crescent and Stonco,
as well as tools and other electrical supplies by Ideal, among many
others.
The job entails the following key responsibilities and qualifications:
-Minimum two years, preferably five years general lighting sales experience;
-Able to identify existing lighting systems found at client sites, and able
to propose energy-saving alternatives;
-Personable and persistent sales nature;
-Willingness to cold call end-users;
-Able to close consistent sales and earn repeat business;
-Skilled with MS Word and Excel;
-Ability to work from our business office in New York, and spend at least
two days each week visiting prospects and clients;
-Ability to assist clients with NYSERDA rebate applications.
